Description
Keep any room nice and warm without the use of your central heating system with the 635x420mm anthracite electric designer radiator. Featuring slim panels and an anthracite finish, this electric designer radiator is sure enhance any modern interior. Supplied with a 400W heating element, this attractive electric designer radiator boasts an impressive 1365 BTU output to ensure your room is quickly transformed into a warm and comfortable space.

Featuring a temperature display and an on/off switch, the heating element has five heat settings and uses less energy when in standby mode. The heating element also has a dryer function that allows you to boost the heating power for two hours before it reverts back to its previous setting.

The radiant heat electric radiator contains glycol, a water based heating solution that eliminates the kettle type noise from within, as well as rust and limescale. The glycol solution contains anti-corrosion and anti-freeze.

The electric designer radiator will have sealing caps upon delivery, but users will need to unscrew one to install the heating element. The hardwiring should be carried out by a trained electrician.

Please note: the heating element will be sent separately from the radiator itself.

“Not all it seems!”

Purchased this radiator for a utility room expecting it to actually throw out some heat to a degree! Very disappointed as it is just a towel warmer that gives off very littl radiant heat. Quiet poor really as I expected some ambient heating from this appliance. On the plus side the radiator is well made & sturdy & looks really well but all in all I bought it for the heating feature and not its looks so as I've said very disappointed.0

Radiator efficiency, is measured in British Thermal Units (BTU). The dimensions of a room are used to calculate the BTU output required to heat that room. Radiators all have a known and calculated BTU output. Using the BTU outputs in the Product Specification or description above, it is easy to calculate the size of radiator you need to help provide the total heat output necessary for your room.

How to calculate BTU requirement

The best way is to ask your plumber to perform the calculation for you. If you don't have access to a plumber, you can use the BTU Calculator below as a guide. Please note that the calculated figure relates to the combined heat output of all radiators in the room, therefore the towel rail or radiator that you purchase need not satisfy the entire BTU output if it is used to complement existing radiators.
