Which valves do I need?

As the pipe inlets for this traditional towel radiator are positioned perpendicular to the brass frame you do not have to worry about which type of valve you need. Whether your pipes come up from the floor or directly from out of the wall you will require a pair of CheapSuites.co.uk angled radiator valves in order to connect this traditional towel rail to your central heating system. For perfect results we recommend that you choose a pair of angled valves from the CheapSuites.co.uk range which can be found in the Essential Extras area of this product page.

The 930x630mm minimalist traditional brass heated towel rail will perfectly complement any traditional bathroom creating a stunning feature. The traditional heated towel rail has a BTU output of 1,579 (645 watts), which will efficiently warm up any bathroom.

The 930x630mm traditional brass heated towel radiator is manufactured from high quality brass tubing and has a chrome plated finish, it also features a central insert of five horizontal bars, which helps to enhance the traditional styling and adds a touch of elegance.

The heated towel radiator is suitable for use on all domestic heating systems and works in the same way as a standard radiator would. A fixing pack is included with this traditional radiator.

BTU Calculator

Radiator efficiency, is measured in British Thermal Units (BTU). The dimensions of a room are used to calculate the BTU output required to heat that room. Radiators all have a known and calculated BTU output. Using the BTU outputs in the Product Specification or description above, it is easy to calculate the size of radiator you need to help provide the total heat output necessary for your room.

How to calculate BTU requirement

The best way is to ask your plumber to perform the calculation for you. If you don't have access to a plumber, you can use the BTU Calculator below as a guide. Please note that the calculated figure relates to the combined heat output of all radiators in the room, therefore the towel rail or radiator that you purchase need not satisfy the entire BTU output if it is used to complement existing radiators.

This calculator is for guidance use only.
